The Australian Street Rod Federation in Victoria has decided to do something pro-active to support men’s health on 1st March 2015.
The historical handbrake on men's health has been to get the buggers to go for a check-up, so we decided to take the check-up facilities to where the guys are certain to congregate - a full-throttle blokes day out!
Our aim is to provide an environment where men have the opportunity to pro-actively address potential health issues face-to-face with the full spectrum of men’s health service providers. Show-quality hot rods have the ability to draw large crowds consisting of an extremely diverse cross-section of the community to any event. The ASRF will supply the hot rods - in the hundreds.
This is not just a car show, it’s much, much more. We are aiming high - Get blokes in the gate, give them a good day out, and potentially save lives.

The Born In The USA American Car & Motorcycle Show is being held on March 1st at the Manningham Hotel, Bulleen. Entry via Bulleen Road only.
The event is being hosted by The Lincoln-Mercury Car Club and there is a huge array of trophies on offer including best club display, top 10 and best American. Entrants $10 per car, bikes and public free entry.
Family fun day including kids entertainment, catering on site and live on stage all day Sticky Fingers. All profits go to the very special kids at Royal Children's Hospital.

The 2015 Concours will be held on March 1st 2015 at Xavier College in Kew. This year we will be celebrating 60 years of the TR3.
All Triumph cars no matter what condition are encouraged to display with no obligation to enter the judging process. The emphasis of the day is to meet n’ greet members share stories and experiences with our Triumphs, or simply picnic under the trees.
Entrants by 9am and judging starts at 10am. An entry fee of $15 per car is charged and the proceeds go to Beyond Blue. Free public entry with all welcome.

Park Orchards Community Car Rally

The Park Orchards Community Car Rally is being organised by the Lions Club of Park Orchards and will be held on Sunday 1st March 2015, commencing at Domeney Reserve at 9am. Open to all types of cars, new or old and will be fun for the whole family.
It is open to all cars and is not a race, but more of an “observation run” with fun and cryptic clues. It will finish at a secret venue in the Yarra Valley. Classic cars will be invited to enter a Show & Shine at the Winery, with prizes available for People’s Choice, matching vehicle / period attire and Sponsors Choice.
There will be a BBQ Lunch available from 12 noon or bring your own picnic. Cost $35 per car with all proceeds going back to Sporting Clubs within our Park Orchards Community. Our Men's Shed " Car Torque " is held on the First Sunday of each month. Members and the public are welcome to join with us to show off your classic car or bike or any unique vehicle that you may be restoring.
We would also like to see any stationary engine (working) that you may have. Its great to be able to chat to the fella's about anything that you have in mind in regards to restoration. The Hobson's Bay Men's Shed has an engineering shop with a pretty good metal working lathe and members that have the know-how. Free entry with all cars welcome.
