Australia’s longest running car show will continue in 2017 with Motorvation 31 set down for January 21 at Perth Motorplex, Corner Anketell & Rockingham Roads, Kwinana Beach. A one day format and a massive reduction in entry fees are the big news in a year of change for the venue.
The new schedule will make for as entertaining a day as possible for both entrants and spectators, fitting in everything that makes Motorvation great. Instead of limited Super Cruises on the long route through the drag strip and return road throughout the day as in past years, cruising will be open practically non-stop until 4pm, alternating between MV Muscle Cruise, Super Cruise and Smooth Cruise, providing opportunities aplenty for any style of driving – from family friendly to more ‘spirited’ tyre spinning adventures.
From 4pm general cruising will be limited to the pits as the Megaskid competition begins, though there will be one more opportunity to Smooth Cruise in front of the crowd before the awesome KFC Burnouts begin from 5.30pm.
Changes have been made to the show part of Motorvation 31, with the Elite Pavilion being rested for 2017, but there will still be a judged Show and Shine as well as the Audio Precision Sound Off and Miss Motorvation across the event, making for an atmosphere-filled venue.
