The confusing thing is the service manual doesn't say to take the cam gear off to get the rear cover off but IMO I need to take it off. So the next question is how do I get the cam gear off. The manual states to remove the cam from the head then take the gear off. I tried to wedge a spanner between the gear and the body of the car and undo the bolt only to bend the spanner
