Dear Forum. I hope this finds the right person. My step father is the proud owner of a 1936 Mercedes Benz 540k C. Unfortunately it is in the need of some TLC in relation to its starter motor. In particular the starter pinion gear and starter flywheel assembly. We are looking for leads or original parts or related technical drawings for thes parts and was wondering if you could help or point us in the right direction for help. As all the electrics on the car are Bosch original parts it only seemed logical to start with you. On the subject it is also missing its original steering column ignition assembly. This part would also be nice on a wish list. Its a left hand drive car and we would ideally like to bring it back to original as it has been modified.
Any leads or parts or technical drawings would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to your reply with great interest
