Some sites peak my interest for a bit before I find myself elsewhere looking and seeing basically the same stuff. Here, and now... wow! what can I say: information lead to information finding info I didn't know I needed but took in too say the least [big breath]. And still there is more... see ya next Sunday!

Came across your erstwhile site this evening here in South Africa. It's superb, most informative and I'll be sure to visit as often as I can. For instance, I never knew Mazda started out manufacturing a motorcycle before cars ... shades of BMW perhaps!

It was a new years resolution that if I came across a wesbite that I enjoyed or found useful I'd make the 15 second effort to let them know [otherwise how will you ever know you're doing it right?].

So, I really enjoyed prowling around the website, lots to make me nostalgic, very useful info to help me place some old street directories and petrol company maps I've got.

Well done - I really appreciate the effort everyone has gone to in making it a good site.

I was looking for info regarding the 1954 REDEX Trial and found your website. Great info. My father was a competitor in an FJ Holden and came 49th. He is 82 now and the stories about his trip are still great to listen to.

I write to let you know that I think your website is excellent. I am a retired guy who is a car tragic. The ease of use and way the site is organised is a lesson for anyone involved in website construction. I use a few sites worldwide as I sell off a collection I have assembled over 45 years. By far , your site is the easiest and most accessible. Congratulations!

Just a correction on the following regarding Mecedes early history.
The "28/95" model was announced in 1921***, prior to the merger with Benz in 1926. It was fitted with a 725Occ six-cylinder engine and, unusually for the period, four-wheel brakes. Early versions were not supercharged, but a 'blower' was later added, and Max Sailer used one of these cars to finish second in the Targa Florio."
*** The 28/95 Mercedes was introduced just before WW1 in 1914 not in 1921. My late father rebuilt a 1914 model as a replica of Count Louis Zbrowskis Chitti 3 with a 23 litre Mercedes aero engine %28ex Zeppelin%29 in it. It can be seen at the following link, in poor condition unfortunatly. Just cut and past into your brower.

At present I own a Rochdale Olympic Ph2R. An English kitcar from 1963.

I have looked at many car websites but I personally rate yours as the most comprehensive when it comes to enthusiasts information.I personally use it from time to time to check paint codes or details about trim or cosmetic changes to models and when they were made. I
find it a very useful site. Keep up the good work!

I stumbled across this website whilst looking for a way to sell a 1970 Datsun 1600. My asking price I later found to be well below market price but I was happy enough to make a quick sale less than two weeks after first advertising.

Although I'm currently both license and car-less, my interest in cars is still high. Especially in those breeds that are either rare or non-existent on the roads today. This site has a WEALTH of information for enthusiasts and casual browsers alike. I've recommended it to ALL my rev-head friends. Keep up the good work.
