Abarth
Abarth's next Simca-based model - the 1600GT - arrived in 1963. Though recognisably an evolution of the preceding 1300GT, the newcomer showed the influence of recent aerodynamic developments in the form of an upturned duck tail rear end similar to that of Ferrari contemporary GTs and sports-racers. Essentially the same as the 1300GT, the chassis featured Independent suspension and Girling disc brakes all round. The engine cast-iron, production-based block was topped by an aluminium-alloy, twin-cam cylinder head featuring two magneto-sparked plugs per cylinder. The gearbox was an all-synchromesh six-speeder. 153bhp and 150mph were claimed.
1964 Abarth Simca 1300 GT Corsa Coupe Abarth was build in 1964. With S-4 DOHC / 8 Valves total / 2 Valves per cylinder engine type, sized at 1288ccm it was able to deliver 138.0 bhp @7800 rpm.
The engine specifications, body aerodynamics and weight to power ratio produce a top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph)
It is a RWD driven car, with Rear engine location, wighted at 647 kg. The car comes with a 6 Speed Manual transmition. compression ratio 10.40:1 and it is a Benz fueld engine.
