Belonging to a Car Club is one of the best ways to
ensure you enjoy your Classic, Vintage or Veteran automobile.
Apart from the comradeship of like minded motoring
enthusiasts, many clubs also have extensive motoring
libraries on offer specific to the marque, and the
members themselves always have a wealth of knowledge
for you to draw upon.
Then there are the many social
events and club runs. If your not in a club, you should
be. You will find below
the details of most major car clubs throughout Australia.
Don't forget to check out the Classic
Car Event Calendar for event details
throughout the year, and should your club be holding
an event then please contact
us.
Avon Valley Vintage
Vehicle Association of WA inc
The
Avon Valley Vintage Vehicle Association was established
in 1985 in Northam to cater for all enthusiasts of
machinery and motor vehicles, motorcycles and other
motoring memorabilia over 25 years of age. We welcome
new members to join our club from anywhere in Western
Australia.
The AWMN's mission is to encourage
more women to become involved in these male-dominated
fields, as they are areas where women can, and do,
compete on an equal basis if given encouragement and
opportunities... and to help increase the power and
respect of the many talented and determined women who
are already involved.
The Vintage Drivers Club incorporates
a spare parts section, library, meeting room, supper
room and on-site parking. It produces a monthly magazine
of at least 24 pages and meetings are generally held
on the fourth Friday of the month. The club also has
a wide variety of events ranging from competitive to
purely social. Although the club was originally created
to cater only for vintage vehicles, many of the members
own other collector cars which can be used under the
auspices of the Red Plate Scheme.
