Dust Shield (or dust deflector)


Dust Shield / Dust Deflector
Sheet metal pressing attached close to a brake disc to protect the inner face from dust and water-carried debris. The term is also used of a rubber strip, usually held in a metal channel, around a door aperture to prevent dust being drawn into the car.
