|We bought this car earlier last year and the following Vehicle details are from seller in US.
"This car was a frame off restoration started in 2003. Sandblasted, primed and painted with PPG Chrome Yellow paint. This car features a 1978 Mustang II front suspension. Also new Heidts cross member, shock towers, brake callipers, rotors, shocks, brake lines, hoses and pads. For the power brakes I used a 1986 Ford Mustang brake booster assembly. The engine in this car is a strong, newly rebuilt 1967 327cu.in. Chevy small block. The engine is bored .30 over with a new 490 lift Comp cam, lifters and valve spring assembly. It has double roller timing chain and gear set. The heads are not original. They're new cast iron World Product heads with Billet aluminium valve covers. The intake manifold is polished aluminium Performance Plus with a Edlebrock 650 CFM carb and Billet Specialties Heartbeat breather. Cooling is handled by the original 1951 radiator. Chrome headers and new dual exhaust tones this Chevy small block. The transmission is a newly rebuilt TH 350 with a shift kit. The car has a 8" Ford rear end with brand new leaf springs. New gas tank.
It has an Iditit chrome tilt colum shift that's connected to a manual Mustang II steering rack. The shifting linkage, accelerator cable, kick down cable and transmission dipstick are all Lokar products.
The car is now 12-volt system with a 21-circuit Snap wiring harness.
The interior is finished in light brown tweed with dark brown accent, including the headliner and carpet.
The new Frenched headlights sit just above the one piece custom front bumper. The back of the car has a custom rear roll pan. Brand new chrome rims with baby moons with new tyres. All glass is new except for the three piece rear window. It has a one piece windshield. It has all new rubber.
This car has had a lot of work done to it as you can see in the pictures. For the last 5 months I've used it as a daily driver. Everything is new in this car and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
The doors do shut straight and they are solid. The car drives and stops straight. No smoke at all. The motor is real strong and new. Also rocker panels were replaced. There is no power steering. There was rust in the car but it has been repaired: the quarter panels and the driver's side floor. I have pictures which show all the work done to it.
As to gear ratio, I'm guessing it's around 300 open. I'm not sure if the rear end is from a 70 Falcon or a 78 Grenada but it is a 8' Ford rear end."
I have all the photos that he mentioned, and I have had new windscreen wiper and hand brake kits sent over and installed. I also had the boot trimed to match the interior. Everything now works on the car. The car drives strong and well and we have had no problems at all.
