Club Lotus Australia was formed in 1973 by a group of enthusiasts to enjoy their cars. Ownership of a Lotus is not a prerequisite of being a member of the Club.
Membership of the Club is often a way to acquire a Lotus as well as gain technical knowledge.
The Club conducts monthly general meetings currently held at different venues around Sydney, usually on the second Tuesday of the month commencing at 8:00pm.
Club Lotus Australia takes part in competitive, sporting and social events. It is a member of the Combined Sports Car Association which includes Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Sprite, Morgan and Triumph clubs. Each club conducts a competitive event during the year with points accumulating from these events. Club Lotus Australia is an affiliated club with the Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS).
