Back in 1981 ,i bought a new GJ manual. Had it for 20 years with no issues. A dream and pleasure to drive, especially on highway cruising. Sold it long ago. In 2007 l purchased a 83 GL auto model. This one needed a lot of work . Slowly been fixing it up, now almost finished. Drives great, but fuel economy is pretty bad.Simple and easy to maintain. Nowadays, these are very rare and that makes it more appealing to me. It was my weekender, now has become my daily drive . I have listed many pictures on Shannons.
