5th Annual David Calleja Memorial Car Show
Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh

The 5th Annual David Calleja Car Show is held on 7th Feb 2010 in the historic, picturesque grounds of Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh (Bacchus Marsh is centrally located and is approximately 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD, Geelong & Ballarat, with a tail wind, even quicker! (Mel Ref:333 H10)).

A great family day out with on-site catering, country market, kids amusements, live music, trade stalls also this year featuring a 1954 Austin Healy Streamliner!

Competitors vehicles $10 - Adults $5 - children under 14 free.

Gates open at 7am for competitors and to the public from 8am.

Latrobe Valley Street Machine Show [Vic]
Traralgon Showgrounds, Victoria
7 February, 2010 (8AM - 3PM)

The Latrobe Valley Street Machiners Club (LVSM) has been in operation for some 16 years and has approximately 30 active members. We were aware of many individuals in the Latrobe Valley that owned Street Machines, Hot Rods, race Cars etc and believed that there was an opportunity to present them to the public in the form of a static (Show ’N’ Shine) car show. The show, now entering it’s seventh year, is now widely recognized as one of the best in Victoria and attracts entrants from all over the State.

Over the years there have been some outstanding cars entered in the show including the Ken Neilson built Holden FX with injected motor and Calais trim. The show generally attracts approximately 200+ entrants and attendance is usually around the 6000 mark. There are trade displays, kids activities and catering is provided by the REH Cork Club.

Spectator entry is a “Gold Coin” donation and with the help from a local fundraising group (REH Cork Club) and many local businesses we have raised over $60,000 towards the REH Cork Clubs Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal over the past 9 years.
