    MidWest Show and Shine [WA]
    Maitland Park, Geraldton
    26 September, 2010

Mid West Show & Shine Inc is a non-profit community organisation. Proceeds go to charity and the benefactors this year are - The Leukaemia Foundation and Kidney Australia.

This alcohol-free family day is free with zero tolerance of aggressive or rowdy behaviour.

Access for club displays and commercial exhibitors is from 7am and individual exhibitors will have access from 7.30am, with cut-off at 9.30am. Judging will start at 10 a.m.

A nomination fee of $40 allows a vehicle to be entered for judging in a wide range of categories. All major prizes are between $200 and $500 plus a trophy. Presentations will take place at 3.30pm.

Judging this year will be done by State Judges, which is all about elevating the status of the show.

The Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. An alternative non-competitive category of ‘Display Only’ has an administrative fee of $10.

Miss Show and Shine will again be one of the major attractions.

Entries are limited and the girls will be promoting the show and raising money for our nominated charity organisations.

Entry in the Dyno Shootout has an additional fee of $40. There are seven categories, including naturally aspirated and forced induction.

Numbers for this category are limited so competitors will need to enter early. The dyno is being run by Endrust of Geraldton.

For safety reasons, no vehicles will be allowed to move until after the presentations are completed without the aid or prior approval from a Midwest Show and Shine marshal. This includes vehicles entered in the Dyno Shootout.
