2018 FLINDERS MOTORING HERITAGE DISPLAY
CNR COOK & NORMAN ST, Flinders VIC
01 April, 2018 (10:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
We are excited to advise you of a fun new event on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. The
event will be held on Easter Sunday 1st of April. We would very much like to see your vehicle included this year.
The Lions Clubs ambition is to progressively develop the Flinders Motoring Heritage display into a major activity for car enthusiasts on the Mornington Peninsula. The event raises funds for Lions Club projects benefiting our community. Our website provides more information on the projects we support. (http://flindersvillage.com.au/flinders-l...)
In developing this years display we have been fortunate to receive generous support from major sponsors and legendary racing car driver Allan Moffatt is the patron of the event. Three sites have been allocated within the Flinders village to display vehicles. Vintage cars will be on show in the Community Centre grounds; Classic cars will be displayed in Williams Paddock off Norman Street (behind the Cook and Norman Bistro); and Modern classic cars in the Central Park in Cook Street.
Each site is secure with good vehicle accessibility. The displays will be open to the public from 10.00AM to 4.00PM. Vehicles should be on site by 9.00 AM. Trophies will be awarded to the best vehicle in each category as judged by an independent panel. Space for display is limited so if you would like to enter your vehicle please register online through following Try Bookings link https://www.trybooking.com/TQGY.
The registration on the Try Bookings web page enables you to include contact details, the year, make and model and a brief history your car. This will assist the organisers with the layout of the event.
All funds raised from sponsorships and public entrance fees will go to the Lions Club to support projects benefiting the Mornington Peninsula Community.
I look forward to catching up with you at this event.
