Rally Retro Day
Beach Road, Avalon
At Rally Retro Day you will see 40 rally cars or more, that were competing from the early 1950’s to the mid 1990’s. Some will be in almost ‘as rallied’ condition, some will have been restored and some will be replica’s of iconic rally cars of the past. They will be presented in order of age so you will be able to see the evolution of rally cars before your eyes. You will be able to vote for your favourite rally car to receive the “People’s Choice” award. As well, around half of the cars will be taking parts in 1km demonstration runs on a specially designed Rally Retro dirt circuit so you can see them and hear them doing what they were built for. There are 3 elevated viewing areas around the track to choose from.
