If your pride and joy, your passion, has wheels and horsepower its time you brought it out to play. Cotton balls are all well and good but if you want to get the real deal you have to use it the way it was built to be used once in a while and we’ve made it easy and safe for you to do just that.

It will also be your opportunity to see and appreciate some of the worlds rarest and most famous cars including the 2 rarest Porsches in Australia direct from the Stuttgart Museum.

You do not have to put your car at risk. If half the roads were as safe as Queensland Raceway it would halve the road toll. Your car was meant to be driven and you owe it to the people who designed it, and built it, to show what it can do – safely.

The Sports and Muscle-car Spectacular brings enthusiasts a menu of activities where the ragged edge racers can run to the limit, regular drivers can work to do their regularity time trials and show‘n’shiners can do the show part with movement for a change. This whole weekend is about messing about in your motor at the speed that suits you. Events for everything from push-hard to parade!

You will get to strut your stuff on the track at least four times over the weekend and your family will get to see a whole bunch of significant Australian cars on the track. We guarantee to quicken your pulse and excite your ears.

Shannons have gone to a lot of effort to make sure these days are special for you – Come to QR and share the passion. The first 250 Sports & Muscle Cars to arrive at Qld Raceway on Sunday will be eligible to feature their cars in the Shannons Show & Shine in the pit area where several trophies will be up for grabs.
