A Showcase of Kustoms, Kulture and all things Old Skool. The festival will be re-ignited in 2014 at the historic Carrington Hotel in the Blue Mountains.
Friday 17th January 2014 - By Day Burlesque Work Shops with Venus Vamp at 1.30pm - includes a glass of bubbles. Tickets $25. By Night Burlesque Show performances by Venus Vamp and Porcelain Alice. Also featuring bands The Rusty Spring Synocators, Fire Down Below, Ava Torch, Miss Death and MC Jay Katz. Tickets $25.
Saturday the 18th January 2014 will be a great excuse for anyone with a love of Kustom Kulture and anything Old Skool – this includes rockabillies and car lovers alike - a great excuse to bring the car out of the garage!
By day there there will be a FREE EVENT located in a massive marquee on the hotel grounds. With 4 fantastic bands- The Pat Capocci Combo, The Twilight Rhythm Boys as well as Danny and the Cosmic Tremors and The Two Timin Playboys there will be loads of tunes to help those that like to jump and jive on the floating dance floor.
Hot Rods, Rat Rods n Classic Cars will be on display and will be sure to have more than a few admirers. The Sydney Swing Katz will be performing a live show and providing dance lessons. Vintage stalls, kid’s games and face painting are also planned for the day to keep everyone of all ages entertained.
By night the Lady Luck Festival will shine, with a ticketed Cocktail Party in the Grand Dining Room of the Carrington- and this is going to be huge! Kicks off at 7pm and rages till 2am. Canapés galore, three bands featuring The Star Sisters featuring The Regent Street Band, The Hi Boys and The King Hits. Radio personality Miss Death and MC Jay Katz will also be entertaining till the wee hours. Tickets $47 includes a cocktail on arrival.
