This is the 21st swap and a special welcome to the swappers who have attended every year since 1996. Welcome to the 1,100 site holders from as far away as Victoria.

 

Welcome also to the treasure hunters from all over Central Queensland – Mackay, Emerald, Bundaberg, Yeppoon and Rockhampton who all line up as early as 5.30am Saturday for a 6am start. 5 gates around the ground will be open all day.

 

Saturday breakfast is served at a number of stalls. Food, drinks and expresso coffee will be available all day, with all profits going to local charities. The People’s bar will be open from 10am till 6pm. 200 volunteers man admission gates, food stalls, adminstration and set-up and clean-up. This involves members from various community, service & sporting groups and the All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland Inc.

 

Rocky Swap has been a success story since 1996 because of a fantastic working partnership between “Rotary Club of Rockhampton North Inc.” and “All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland Inc.”. It shows community groups working hand in hand for the benefit of their community.
