This is the first Festival celebrating all types of Motor Vehicles to be held at Swanpool Football Ground on Sunday 3rd February 2019. Cars, Trucks, Pickups, Tractors, Bikes, Boats and Racing Cars & Transporters will be on display, on the oval along with Swap Meet and Market Stalls. Gates open to public at 8am with gold coin donation. Entry for vehicles and passengers is $5 with awards on the day. Coffee Van and Take-Away food together with Meals, Morning Tea will be available in Air-Conditioned Cafe & Bar. Proceeds to local charities and CFA Brigades. Contact Ross Coles for further details.
Swanpool is leading the way in rural Victoria, taking inspiration form the Metropolitan area, abandoning the old format of "Show & Shine" and replacing it with a Motor Festival. This concept is similar to events with car owners displaying their car at a location and enjoying a coffee and meal with similar enthusiasts and the public. Display cars will park on the oval after paying a $5 fee and if still parked at 1pm will be eligible to share in over $1500 in prizes donated by local businesses. Other attractions include; Swap Meet, Market Stalls, Wine & Beer tastings, Live Music, Coffee Van and Take Away Food including morning tea and lunch. Entry for public is gold coin donation, proceeds to local CFA Brigades. All profits go to maintaining the Albert Heaney oval and buildings. |
