Hi Greeny,
If the WB is to be a daily driver then it may pay to start out with a HEI ignition system which will add a little power and make the WB ute much easier to live with day to day.
Next look at the exhaust system, and extractors will help the 202 breathe a little better thus liberating extra kW. If you have some money left over, fit a better carby such as a Weber of Holley.
Finally, if you have some money left over, see if you can find a performance head for fitment. Remember that you can place a free classified in the "Wanted" section of the site, a good second hand unit may help locate one that will fit within your budget.

hey guys first time on the website but its looking good, keep up the good work!
Just a quick question i have just bought an 84 model WB ute with a blue 202 in it. Now im only 17 and am a bit of a speed freak and was wondering what sort of mods i can do to the engine without spending a huge amount of money?
Say below $1,500?
It would be a big help if you guys could help out on this one
cheers
