Australia Day Run is being held on 26th January, 2018 at the Ormiston School Grounds, Wellington Street, Ormiston. On Australia Day, the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club will hold what will be one of Queensland’s largest run’s for historic and classic vehicles.
The Australia Day Run usually attracts up to 500+ vehicles ranging from the early 1900s up to the late 1970’s. There are usually cars, motorbikes, trucks and buses of every make on display at the Ormiston School Grounds from 7.30am on Australia Day. (enter from Wellington St Ormiston only)
Entry is open to all enthusiasts of old, and classic vehicles. Entry is free. To enter just turn up on Australia Day. All the crew in your vehicle get a free breakfast (after purchasing raffle tickets). Free tea or coffee is provided to all entrants.
Magnificent vehicle display, fantastic vehicle runs, great raffle prizes. At about 10.15am leave on one of the several interesting drives visiting some of the Redlands tourist spots and finishing at Redlands Sporting Club, Anson Road, Wellington Point.
To be part of this run just come along in your vintage, historic or classic vehicle between 7.30am and 10.15am at the Ormiston State School in Wellington Street, Ormiston on Australia Day.

The Australia Day Show n Shine is being held on 26th January, 2018 at the Glasshouse Mountains Sports Club at 902 Steve Irwin Way and kicks off at 8am. Join in the fun and festivities at your local sports club.
Show n shine, raffles and prizes, BBQ on the field, licensed bar from 10am, swap meet stall holders $10 and car entrants $10. Nominations on the day, registration from 8am, trophies presented at 1pm.
Music, kids entertainment, dyno machine is back as well as the Pineapple Festival in association with the show n shine. Gold coin entry, all welcome.

There will be a charity auction held on the day to support the Mens Shed Cairns, thanks to our generous sponsors. Action takes place at the Cairns Mens shed, Irene Street between 9am-1pm. Gold coin donation for public entry. Parking will be available at Kangaroo's car park and their bar will be open from 10am. There will be food and drinks available.
Come along to this great family day out to support the Mens Shed Cairns. They will be opening their doors to show the public what they do and how you can become involved. Pre registration is required to display a vehicle, Limited numbers please pre register by 16th January. Cost is $25 per car includes limited edition event t-shirt.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
