The Hunter Valley Swap Meet is being held at the Cessnock Showgrounds on Saturday August 11th and Sunday August 12th 2018. Setup allowed on Friday 10th after 8am. Gates open to public 5am both days.

 

Over a thousand sites covering car and bike parts and collectables. No fires or dogs. Camping available. Outdoor sites $25 includes admission for 2 adults for the duration of swap meet, under cover sites $35 with same conditions. Lookers $5 adult per day. Info John 0412 235 447.

Goulburn to Queanbeyan via Ballarat
3-11 August, 2018

 

Calling all motor enthusiasts! Join our next rally as we take you on a 4000km, eight day adventure which begins in Goulburn and travels through many towns and villages as far south as Ballarat and finishes at Queanbeyan. 

 

We don't travel the usual tourist routes, but instead use a variety of roads on private properties, tracks and trails through National Parks and State Forests, providing challenges and plenty of fun while testing the skills of both driver and navigator. 

 

This will be the 30th consecutive Kidney Kar Rally and is guaranteed to be one of the greatest holidays of your lifetime! We'll introduce you to many new friends who are all participating for not only a great time but to support a good cause.

 

MOSS VALE SHOW GROUNDS IN THE PICTURESQUE NSW SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS! 


Killer Rides Live was previously an indoor event which limited how many cars we could accept entries from. We certainly don't have that issue anymore with the switch to an outdoor, two-day custom car festival! The spacious Moss Vale Showgrounds could easily handle 1000 cars if the event ever grew to that size! 

So from 11th and 12th August 2018, Killer Rides Live will change from a static indoor show to a full-tilt motoring extravaganza featuring a huge show and shine, grass driving events, cruise the venue sessions, Club games, kids rides, a dual drive-in night on the grounds on Saturday night, a sound-off and much more... Check out the program to see what's happening and when it will be. 

If you've already checked out the trophy list, you'll notice we are doing things a little differently. There's no formal judging scheduled for Killer Rides Live. I feel the best trophy to win is one picked by your peers. That's why there is just a Top 20 which will be picked by other entrants. You all get one vote to pick your car of the show! Simple. That eliminates any bias that some believe happens in the car show scene. Also, it means that everyone is in with a chance. If your car has broad appeal and huge impact, but may not technically be the best car there, you could still win. I have also added some fun awards that I will be personally picking and there will also be several Pro's Pick's - trophies awarded by well-known identities in the car scene as their pick of the show. I'm not going to say too much right now about how we will present the trophies but it will be much different to more other shows. And the Top 20 Trophies themselves??? Well, you're going to love these! More on those soon once the prototype is done. 

The whole idea around Killer Rides Live #2 is to have fun with cars. So we're making this a non-alcohol, family-friendly event. We want everyone to come along and have a good time. Our prices aren't outrageous either as we want to be able to cater for everyone - no matter what their budget is.

Siutated in the historic NSW Southern Highlands, Killer Rides, supported by Shannons Insurance, is an event that is all about having fun with cars. We have a massive show and shine, cruise the grounds sessions, grass driving events, traders, kids rides, food outlets, a swap meet, Car Corral and even a dual Drive In Cinema set up on the grassed oval on Saturday night!
